BATTERY CHANGE AND SERVICING
Servicing and Battery Change of Suunto Mosquito
Suunto Mosquito was the third successful watch based dive computer launched by Suunto. This computer was marketed to divers who preferred to have more colors and also, it is a cheaper alternative to Suunto Stinger. It came in Black Cover, Orange Cover
Both Suunto Mosquito has been discontinued.
CARING FOR YOUR SUUNTO Mosquito
One of the most common problem for Suunto Mosquito is the depth sensor and the battery cover. A good habit for scuba divers who are still using the Suunto Stinger is to thoroughly rinse their dive computer after each dive with lukewarm water, paying extra attention to the sensor found on the underside of your dive computer and depressing the buttons while rinsing it.
Many divers have attempted to use a coin and force open the battery compartment, causing major damages. Often, we received the unit that has such bad covers that opening it with the official tools seem impossible. And most scuba divers DIY their own battery change for their Suunto Mosquito without replacing the recommended parts, causing the unit to flood.
